I might seem late to the party, but I'm really not. Honest.
I signed up for this thing weeks ago....but I'm just now getting around to mentioning it. What's that they say about being late to the party??
The Holiday Bootie Buster Challenge, sponsored by RunToTheFinish!!!!
I'm desperate. I usually fail miserably when signing up for challenges like this....but my motivation is in the tank.
Well, it was. It seems to be back now....so I'm going with it.
Here's the deal, you get points for being active. Running, biking, ab workouts, the works. At the end of the season, there's a winner.
I'm not going to win, by any stretch of the imagination....but it's still fun to participate!!!!!
Week 1 Recap
3 mile run, 3 points
5K Turkey Trot, 3 points
Weekly total, a whopping 6 points :-)

hiya, yup do your spin class as cardio. So 6 points for 60 minutes
I've read about this challenge... such a great idea!
Glad your motivation is returning, variety is key in winter, I think. Good luck!!
yes you can, yes you can!!
This challenge is certainly keeping me motivated to get out and run ... NOW if I could only have some time to blog that would be lovely.
@ Amanda - thanks!!! I do a 45 minute class on Tuesday nights, so added my 4 points.
And thanks again for the challenge. It really DOES seem to be working!!! :-)
@ Faith Ann - Variety is the spice of life, right? :-)
@ Claudia - Sometimes I feel like I'm probably boring the crap out of my blog readers...but I'm trying to at least make a little mention each time I go and run. It's so much fun to go back and read past posts.....and, it also serves as my training journal (of sorts). If they added a few more hours to the day (and to the night, for that matter)...I wouldn't complain one bit! :-)
I'm in the challenge too and although I skipped two workouts this week I'm still motivated!
Your blog isn't boring otherwise I just would stop reading and commenting but I'm still here so not bored.
