I decided that today wasn't about pace, today was about that last hill I ran the route the same as I usually do.....my only goal was to run all the way up that final killer hill. I nearly puked when I got to the top, but I did it!!!!

Beautiful morning!! A male cardinal was singing up a storm when I left. Walked less than I usually do, but didn't push myself when running. Took it nice and easy. Felt good!!!

Was supposed to run an easy 2 miles today.....and that's exactly what I did. I ran them without stopping to walk though, and that's huge for me!!!! Especially in that humidity.

Hilly neighborhood...again. Need to find somewhere flat to run in the am. Mylungs were much better today, I could have run further....my calves were another story. I stretched the same, but must have needed more. :-)

Ran around Standing Bear Lake today. Longest run yet, and it felt good. Made a HUGE difference running with someone else. The time and miles went by much quicker!!!!!

Took to the trail again after work today. Slept in this morning, but after the day I had at work, running tonight was a good thing!!! I was running a bit slower, but it got my mind to relax a little. :-)

Running in the rain...I love it!!!!! Decided to hit one of the city trails today, and see what it's like to run without hills. Wow, what a difference. Took 1 minute off my average mile pace. I'm still slower than molasses...but getting better!

Looked like it might start raining on me at any moment, but it never did. Light breeze turned into a full on wind in my face while heading up the last set of big hills. Not my best time, but one of my better runs, as far as how I felt.

Hadn't ran since last Friday, I was feeling it today. The hills are killer on my 3 mile route. Maybe I should find a flatter one? :-)

Wow.....not my best run ever. Just not feelin' it today I guess. Set out to run 3 miles....ended up with 2.5, and suckin' air. Gave blood yesterday, they said not to workout for 24 hours.....it's been 22, I thought that would be close enough. :-)

Short 2 mile run tonight. A little bit of knee pain, but it didn't last long, and wasn't really bad. Still trying to convince my body that all of this running is good for it. (giggle) I don't know what I'll do if I ever run a flat route. :-)

Finally up to my treadmill 3 mile pace. I'm running much more of the 3 miles, but when I'm taking walk breaks, they are slower....must work on that. :-)
